Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft

I was Software Developer intern at Microsoft during summer 2016.

I was in Azure Service Fabric group (R&D hyper-scale compute). Service Fabric is an infrastructure and platform for operating scalable distributed applications and ensures the reliability of the applications. My project was “Enabling Service Fabric Explorer to Visualize Actor Metadata“. Service Fabric Explorer (SFX) is a user-friendly tool that visualizes all entities in the cluster (customer’s applications are running in a cluster). SFX also visualizes the health status of all applications, microservices, and nodes. Prior to my project, SFX didn’t have any visualization for Actors in Actor Programming Model.

My project involved C# programming on service fabric side and front-end web development on SFX side (mostly JavaScript and TypeScript). I used several web technologies including CSS, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, IIS, and OWIN.
